Holiday unit, Bed & Breakfast, Self-contained apartment, Serviced apartment

We have two luxury suites - the Kina Suite (a self contained apartment with breakfast basket provided) with super kingsized bed; luxury ensuite and separate living room/kitchenette. The Tasman Suite is brand new with a king sized bed and luxury ensuite. Breakfast is provided in the main house by your hosts, Fiona & Ron. The Almyra
Apartment Suites can be booked as a single party booking for 2 couples wishing to travel together, but wanting their own privacy and space. Free Wifi is provided. there is a guest laundry area. Both Suites have private decks overlooking the Estuary and mountains. Guests are welcome to use our outdoor swimming pool and to wander around our 3 acre property - great for birdwatching, photography, just chilling with a glass of wine or lazing with a good book. The accommodation has its own private driveway, parking and entrance - away from the main house.

Locality

Kina Peninsula enjoys an idyllic location, surrounded by water with the Kahurangi Mountains as a backdrop for the setting sun & some amazing sunsets. Our property is located between Nelson and the Abel Tasman National Park - some 35 minutes drive either to Marahau (Gateway to the Park) or Kaiteriteri where a water taxi will take you into the fabulous secluded beaches of the Park. Kina has its own natural beaches with excellent swimming, fishing, kayaking, walking. tasman Golf Club is nearby - only 9 holes but a challenging, hilly course, overlooking the Tasman Sea.

Property

Almyra at Kina is a new contemporary architecturally-designed house, set in 3.5 acres of delightful parkland gardens, sloping down to the estuary,and close to a natural, unspoilt beach. Great attention has been given to quality furnishings, fittings and accessories and we take great pride in building our dream house in this idyllic peaceful location. We are environmentally friendly and use solar power for water heating whenever possible. We reply on rain water tanks (all domestic water is filtered before use), a bio-cycle septic system, and use ENJO fibre cloths for our cleaning system.
